Former owner's signature at top of second title-page (undeciphered). In an inscription on verso of second title-page dated 5 Feb. 1676 Geo. Plaxton records that he received the book as a gift from "Honest Jack Tayler", whose funeral sermon he preached on 14 Jan. 1686
